International patienst services
Clínica Las Americas Auna has the special office that takes care of national and international patients to provide them assistance making medical appointments with specialists, agreements with hotels in the city to get special rates, and permanently accompanying the patients from the moment they arrive to the airport and all during their visit to our Institution.
Taking into account the importance of providing good healthcare services to each person that comes to Clinica Las Americas Auna, our team at the international office shall cater all of our patients’ needs and requirements to be admitted to our hospital explaining in detail each service upon patients’ arrival to the country or city. This process also includes:
- programming appointments and agendas to undergo outpatient or surgical procedures
- providing personal assistance and information regarding medical treatment and services
- supporting patients during administrative procedures
- processing international insurance company paperwork
- organizing guided tours of our installations with our bilingual staff
- providing language assistance during patients' stay at Clinica Las Americas Auna
- organizing agreement with specialized medical transportation services, Sarpa, to coordinate patient transportation from anywhere in the country or abroad
- providing assistance coordinating trips including reservations at hotels with whom the hospital has agreements
- providing free transportation from and to international Airport, Jose Maria Cordova or to the Regional Airport, Enrique Olaya Herrera on board our own taxi cab fleet
- providing luggage storage services
- providing free Wi-Fi services at the hospital's installations
- providing Computer Services and photocopying of documents at our International office and broadband internet and long-distance calls
- providing a free international call for people who reside in the United States
- having agreements with insurance companies worldwide, and we carry out administrative procedures to manage healthcare eventualities during a patient's stay in Medellin
